E&M Aviation Services, LLC is an Arizona-based aviation training and applied research company located at Sierra Vista Municipal Airport/Libby Army Airfield (KFHU).
Built on decades of experience in flight instruction, aircraft maintenance, military aviation, and professional flight operations, E&M combines practical aviation knowledge with modern training technology, simulation, and applied research.
Our work is focused on two areas: developing capable, thinking aviators through advanced flight training and investigating better ways to understand, measure, and improve human performance in aviation.

Located at Sierra Vista Municipal Airport/Libby Army Airfield (KFHU), E&M operates in an aviation environment well suited for focused training. Our approach combines experienced instruction, scenario-based learning, simulation, and modern training technology.

Training Beyond the Airplane
Our FAA-approved BATD allows pilots to develop and reinforce instrument procedures, navigation skills, systems knowledge, workload management, and decision-making in a controlled training environment before applying those skills in the aircraft.
Training is supported by FlighTraq, providing structured lesson planning, instructor assessment, performance feedback, and continuity from one lesson to the next.
